COVID-19 UPDATE: Due to the current crisis we are doing all business for the foreseeable future electronically - by phone, email, or video communication. AS OF NOW THE FEDERAL BANKRUPTCY COURT IS STILL OPERATING! We can still file bankruptcies, and we can still put out fires!
Keep in mind however that at this unique point in time where we still don’t know quite what’s to come, it will make sense for most people who are being financially affected to wait to file a bankruptcy until after this crisis has reached some resolve. Try to take advantage of the resources/waivers being offered at the moment if any apply to you, try to do the best you can, obviously easier said than done, but bankruptcy is still the last resort.
We are here if you need us, feel free to call if you have any questions! (314) 896-1999

EXPERIENCED & PROFESSIONAL BANKRUPTCY ATTORNEYS
For over 30 years Kimber H. Baro has been dedicated to helping people with financial problems and emergencies get the relief they need. She has represented thousands of individuals and married couples in chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. She is a well respected lawyer in the field, friendly and knowledgeable, and easy to get in contact with. Helping people file bankruptcy and eliminate their debts - and save their homes, their cars, and their livelihoods - is her passion!
Kimber received her law degree (Juris Doctor), cum laude, from St. Louis University School of Law in 1984, and her undergraduate degree with honors from Valparaiso University in 1981. Kimber has been practicing bankruptcy law since 1988. From 2000 to 2014 Kimber was a partner in a law firm that specialized in bankruptcy law. In 2014 she formed her own law firm, Baro Law Firm. She is a frequent speaker and lecturer at bankruptcy education seminars for the Missouri Bar and the United States Bankruptcy Court. She is a member of the Missouri Bar, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), and is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
The majority of bankruptcies she files are for residents of St. Louis City, St. Louis County,
St. Charles County (holding court in Wentzville), and Jefferson County. She also files bankruptcies, albeit less frequently due to geography, for residents of Franklin, Lincoln, Warren, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, and all other northern counties that hold court in Hannibal. If you live in any of these counties, and can meet in person at her office a minimum of two times, for a consultation and a signing, she can file your bankruptcy. Her office is conveniently located in Florissant, Missouri, on N Hwy 67
(aka N Lindbergh Blvd) just south of the intersection of Lindbergh and New Florissant Road, directly across the street from the Florissant Police Department and right next door to Cugino's Italian Bar & Grill. See Google map for directions.
Her firm also practices other areas of law such as traffic and DWI, criminal misdemeanors and ordinance violations, divorce not involving children, and drafting estate planning documents such as deeds (quit claim deeds, beneficiary deeds, etc.), wills, and powers of attorney.
